We are situated on the banks of the River Wye
just a few yards from Glasbury Bridge and approximately
five minutes by car from the bookshop town of Hay-on-Wye. -

We have transformed the old post office and shop on the bridge at Glasbury and now have a licensed cafe overlooking the river serving food all day to paddlers and non paddlers.

The rooms are simple, modern and warm and guests come down to a large cooked breakfast with free range eggs, local bacon, a bottle of local apple juice, cereals and croissants. A packed lunch can be provided containing lots of local goodies!

Hire acanoe or bike
You can hire canadian canoes, double kayaks, single kayaks and paddle off downstream to Hay-on-Wye which is 5 miles and will take you 2 hours, or to the Boat Inn at Whitney which is approx 10 miles and will take you 4 hours. Read our FAQ page for more info. You can also hire mountain bikes, tandem bikes and vespa scooters, explore the Wye valley.
